Denbighshire launches Public Space Protection Order
Dog control in Denbighshire is changing with the launch of the new county-wide Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) that could result in irresponsible dog walkers being fined if they fail to comply with the order.
Following a consultation with the public earlier in the year, the Council's Planning and Public Protection launched the PSPO with an information event in Cae Ddol Park Ruthin last month.
The order is designed to deal with long standing issues concerning irresponsible dog owners and will not impact on the majority of responsible dog owners.
