Ruthin Gaol

The renovations following significant flood damage at the Gaol are still ongoing.

Whilst unable to open our cell doors to the public this summer, we are offering FREE tours of the prison yard and outside spaces at the Gaol until Saturday 1st October.
Tours take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 11am and 2pm, weather permitting.
Come along and join our informative guides on an outdoor tour of this old prison. Hear about the history of the Gaol and some of our infamous residents!
The Gaol shop will be open selling Gaol themed goodies and cold drinks, you’re welcome to bring a picnic!
Please note there are no public toilets on site.
For all the latest information, you can follow them on their social media Facebook account.
