Gazing at the Stars⭐
Come explore the night sky, fly to planets, see the Milky Way, view a Constellation in a new light and learn about the importance of protecting our precious dark skies and how you can help too.
On the 29th and 30th of July, Denbighshire Language Initiative and Denbigh Museum are holding fun days for the family in the Town Hall, Denbigh, supported by the Royal Society. The council’s National Landscape team is proud to support the event by bringing their Planetarium, fondly known as the 'Space Space'.
Come explore the night sky, fly to planets, see the Milky Way, view a Constellation in a new light and learn about the importance of protecting our precious dark skies and how you can help too.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about Isaac Roberts. Born in Denbigh, the amateur astronomer took the first clear photograph of Andromeda which is the closest galaxy to our Milky Way
