Connect to Work launches across North Wales with delivery partners appointed
Connect to Work has officially commenced delivery across North Wales, with residents across Ynys Môn, Gwynedd, Conwy and Denbighshire benefiting from the programme since June 2026. The launch marks a significant milestone in supporting people facing barriers to employment, providing personalised support and sustainable employment opportunities.
Since the summer, Connect to Work has been delivered locally by Môn CF, Gwaith Gwynedd, Conwy Employment Hub and Working Denbighshire. Following robust commissioning processes led by Denbighshire County Council, Flintshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Councils, we are pleased to welcome RCS Wales and The Salvation Army Employment Plus as our delivery partners. The Salvation Army Employment Plus have been appointed to support Working Denbighshire, and Conwy Employment Hub’s delivery in Conwy and Denbighshire, both will begin supporting participants in the coming months.
Connect to Work is a voluntary UK Government-funded supported employment programme that follows the evidence-based Supported Employment model, helping residents who are disabled, have health conditions or complex needs to find, enter and remain in work through bespoke, personalised one-to-one support.

Following a robust commissioning process led by Denbighshire County Council, Flintshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Council we are pleased to welcome RCS Wales and The Salvation Army Employment Plus as our delivery partners. Their experience and commitment to supporting individuals furthest from the labour market will be instrumental in helping people across North Wales achieve their employment aspirations and improve their long-term wellbeing.”
As delivery continues to expand across the region, Connect to Work delivery partners will enhance and develop existing and new relationships with referral partners in health, community organisations and employers, to ensure eligible individuals can access the support they need to move into sustainable employment.
The commencement of the delivery of Connect to Work reinforces the region’s commitment to reducing inequalities by empowering more people to participate in the workforce and contribute to their local economies.
