Free parking bays – Morley Rd and West Kinmel Street Car Parks, Rhyl
Following the success of the free parking for 1 hour bays in Denbigh and Ruthin we will be rolling out the scheme to Rhyl. The bays will be located in West Kinmel Street Car Park and Morley Road Car Park The bays will marked as free parking with associated signs.
New pay and display machines
We will be replacing 14 of our existing pay and display machines before the end of March 2019. The new machines will have the option to pay by card. The car parks identified for the new machines are:
- Factory Ward, Denbigh
- East Street, Llangollen
- Market Street, Llangollen
- Mill Street, Llangollen
- Park Road, Ruthin
- Nant Hall Road (Central), Prestatyn
- Nova Rear, Prestatyn
- Kings Avenue, Prestatyn
- Morley Road, Rhyl
- Railway Station, Rhyl
- Crispin Yard, Ruthin
Nant Hall Road (Central) and Fern Avenue Car Parks, Prestatyn
From the 1st January 2019 new tariffs will apply in the above car parks. The new tariffs are:
- Upto 4hrs – free (Prestatyn Town Council are subsidising this)
- Over 4hrs - £3.50

Tariff board replacement project
We will soon be commencing a project to renew all of our tariff boards. Example of the new tariff board is shown below.
