Nantclwyd y Dre
On a lovely sunny day in July Nantclwyd Y Dre and Gardens was part of the National Garden Scheme in Ruthin.
The beautiful medieval town of Ruthin offered 6 contrasting gardens, ranging from the large garden of Ruthin Castle, surrounded by ancient walls and picturesque grounds to beautiful little gardens hidden behind terraced cottages. One of the oldest timbered town houses in Wales, Nantclwyd y Dre and the restored Lord`s Garden with its’ views of the castle. The National Garden Scheme has been organising their yearly event since 1927 and raises money for nursing and caring charities.
It was an excellent day with over 300 visitors to the Nantclwyd Y Dre and gardens.
