Trial gritter run gets winter preparations underway

Council teams are preparing for the upcoming Winter Maintenance season in Denbighshire.

As part of these preparations, Council gritters will head out across the north and south of Denbighshire on 15 and 16 October for a trial run. Drivers will follow the usual gritting routes to check that everything is ready for winter, and their feedback will help shape the Council’s winter maintenance plans.

Denbighshire’s varied road network stretches from quieter rural roads and narrow tracks serving isolated properties to the highest A-class road in Wales and key regional routes such as the A55.
