Ruthin Gaol’s Halloween Spectacular
Ruthin Gaol Museum had a very busy Halloween Week this October, celebrating all things spooky.
The Gaol was decorated with jack o’ lanterns, skeletons, bats and spiders, and creepy music added to the eerie ambience in our Victorian prison.
Our wonderful team put on Halloween-themed activities for visitors to enjoy, including mask-making, quizzes and making scary spiders and bats.
In the ‘Halloween Hunt’ visitors searched for ingredients to the witch’s broth hidden around the Gaol to help her finish her spell.
Over 400 visitors of all ages enjoyed the festivities and we were happy to see so many in costume turn up, plenty of people getting into the Halloween spirit this year!
