The session is open to everyone, whether they are already working in community support, are considering a career change, or are simply passionate about making a difference in their local community.
No booking is required, but attendees are encouraged to register in advance via Eventbrite to help the team accurately calculate the number of attendees beforehand.
Councillor Huw Hilditch-Roberts, Deputy Leader of the Council said:
“This open day is a brilliant opportunity for people to find out more about the wide range of rewarding roles available within the council’s social care team.
We are looking forward to meeting with people who have experience in care or community support, as well as those who may be considering a new career path. Attendees can drop in at any time throughout the event and will be able to speak directly with our teams, ask questions, and receive guidance on the application process and the support available to staff.
Working within the social care sector can be incredibly fulfilling, and this event is a great opportunity for those interested to take that first step and learn more about how they can make a real difference in local people’s lives.”
