Teddy Day Returns to Nantclwyd y Dre Historic House and Gardens

Following the overwhelming success of its first-ever Teddy Day earlier this summer, Nantclwyd y Dre is delighted to be bringing the event back on Thursday 20 August, giving families another chance to enjoy an historic teddy-themed adventure before the new school term begins.

Taking place from 10.30am to 4.30pm (last entry 3.30pm) within the historic house’s beautiful gardens, Teddy Day is included with normal admission, with free entry for children under five.

Visitors are invited to bring along their most adventurous teddy bears and explore the beautiful gardens while taking part in a range of fun activities including teddy-themed crafts, traditional lawn games and the ever-popular teddy zipline, which proved to be a huge hit at the first event.

Kate Thomson, Nantclwyd y Dre Site Manager said:

“We were thrilled by the response to our first Teddy Day and to see so many visitors enjoying the activities we had prepared for them with their teddies. With many families saying how much they enjoyed the day and would love to see it take place again, we knew we had to bring it back!”

Families are encouraged to bring their favourite teddy bear and enjoy a memorable end to the summer holidays in the unique surroundings of Nantclwyd y Dre. No advance booking required.
