Another successful Working Denbighshire Jobs Fair
Residents from across Denbighshire came together at Queen's Market, Rhyl, on 30 September for a successful Jobs Fair that connected jobseekers with local employers, training providers, and support organisations offering a wide range of opportunities.

The event welcomed over 500 attendees throughout the day, providing a valuable opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore current vacancies, discover training pathways, gain careers advice, and speak directly with organisations looking to recruit.
Employers and support organisations from a variety of sectors attended, creating a vibrant and engaging environment where visitors could learn more about local opportunities, ask questions, submit applications, and build valuable connections. Many attendees took advantage of the chance to speak face-to-face with recruiters, while others accessed guidance and support to help them take positive next steps towards employment.

The Jobs Fair was delivered through a collaborative effort between local employers, employability services, training providers and community organisations, all working together to support residents into employment, education, and training opportunities.
Working Denbighshire played a key role in coordinating the event and providing on-the-day support. Advisors were available throughout the event to offer personalised employment guidance, CV support, information on local training programmes, and advice on overcoming barriers to work.
Peter Cadmore, Early Intervention Manager at Working Denbighshire, said:
"The Jobs Fair demonstrated just how much opportunity exists within our local area and highlighted the power of partnership working. It was fantastic to see so many residents engaging with employers, discovering new possibilities, and taking positive steps towards their employment goals.
"We'd like to thank all of the organisations that attended and contributed to making the event such a success. Their commitment to supporting local people is invaluable and helps create stronger, more resilient communities."
Councillor Hugh Evans OBE, Leader of the Council and Lead Member for Economic Growth, Corporate Governance and Tackling Deprivation, added:
"Creating opportunities for local people remains a priority for the Council, and events such as this provide an important platform for residents to connect directly with employers and support services.
"It was encouraging to see such strong engagement throughout the day, demonstrating the ambition of our residents and the willingness of employers and partners to invest in local talent."
Feedback from attendees highlighted the positive atmosphere of the event, with many valuing the opportunity to meet employers in person, learn about career pathways, and access support services all under one roof.
The Jobs Fair forms part of ongoing efforts to support economic growth across Denbighshire by helping residents develop skills, build confidence, and access sustainable employment opportunities.
