Essential Works to improve the A543 through Denbigh is set to begin this month

Denbighshire County Council will carry out significant resurfacing work on the A543 High Street section from October 25 until November 1.
Following the completion of this section of work, resurfacing will then start at Vale Street on November 1 until November 17.
Traffic control will be carried out via a combination of Stop/Go boards or temporary traffic lights. Road closures and diversions will be in place on an occasional basis whilst both sections of work are undertaken. Residents and road users should allow extra time for their journeys because delays maybe likely but the Council will make every effort to minimise disruption to those using the route.
Councillor James Elson, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: “These essential works will improve this important route for Denbigh residents and local businesses. The Council would like to thank both residents and businesses owners who live and work near this location for their support and drivers using this route for their patience while we carry out this important work.”
“We will make every effort to complete this work as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise disruption to our residents.”
Denbighshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the local community for its understanding.
Pedestrian Improvement work will at Lenten Pool junction is also due to commence mid-November and further details will be provided through Council channels when appropriate.
