Free Monthly ‘Connect & Chat’ Sessions Launch at The VIBE Station in Rhyl

Denbighshire residents are being invited to attend a free Connect & Chat drop-in session at the newly opened VIBE Station in Rhyl, designed to help people get ahead of rising energy and household costs before winter bills increase.

Taking place on Wednesday 23 July, people can drop in from 2pm to 4pm at The VIBE Station, as Stay Warm, Spend Less is the first in a new programme of monthly sessions, which will be held on the last Wednesday of every month.

These sessions will bring together local organisations and support services to offer practical advice, guidance and opportunities for residents to access support in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

This first session focuses on helping people plan ahead of rising energy costs, giving attendees the chance to take simple steps now to reduce the impact of higher bills later in the year.

Attendees will be able to save money on their bills, find better deals, get simple advice, and learn what support may be available to them.

Organisations confirmed to attend include Welsh Water, Citizens Advice Bureau and Warm Wales, with additional local services expected to be present.

The event is open to everyone and will run as a free drop-in session, with no appointment required.

A spokesperson from VIBE said:

“This event is about helping people take early, practical steps to manage rising costs. By bringing trusted organisations together in one place, we are making it easier for residents to access support and feel more prepared ahead of the winter months.

“The launch of these monthly sessions means this support will continue throughout the year, with a range of topics designed to respond to the needs of the local community.”

Future sessions will take place on the last Wednesday of every month, offering ongoing access to support, advice and opportunities tailored to local needs.
