Fully funded recruitment support available for Denbighshire employers

Struggling to recruit? You might be missing a whole pool of motivated candidates.

The great news is Working Denbighshire can help. We have partnered with a local, professional hiring specialist to provide tailored support to enhance your recruitment practices, helping you to efficiently tap into a wider talent pool.

The Inclusive Employers project from Working Denbighshire can give you:

  • Practical, easy-to-apply guidance on effective and inclusive recruitment and onboarding practices
  • Tailored support to improve your hiring
  • Advice and resources to support potential and existing employees with disabilities, health conditions, or caring responsibilities

Wynne Construction have already been benefiting from the project and Rebecca Martin, HR Manager for Wynne Construction said:

“I found our discussion very helpful and appreciate the advice and recommendations. The new adverts have worked great, and I've seen a great improvement with the suitability and diversity of candidates we have received.”

Councillor Jason McLellan, Leader of the Council and Lead Member for Economic Growth & Tackling Deprivation added:

“We're proud that this Trailblazer project is now well established and delivering real results - connecting businesses with local people who've been held back by disability, health issues or caring duties. Employers filling vacancies with the staff they need and residents getting the support and opportunity they need to thrive at work gives Denbighshire the best of both worlds: Any Denbighshire employer with an ambition to recruit can take advantage of this offer that is fully funded by Welsh Government.”
